Former West Perth utility player Steven Browne is to make his senior debut for Carlton in Saturday's match against Adelaide at the MCG.

Browne, taken at selection 36 in the 2007 NAB AFL Draft, will be the 1113th player to represent the Blues. He is one of three changes to Carlton's 22-man team which accounted for Melbourne by 33 points last Sunday at the MCG.

Also named in the team is Adam Hartlett and Bryce Gibbs, the latter having overcome a week-long absence with a back spasm.

Out is Jordan Bannister, who has succumbed to a hamstring injury, with Adam Bentick and Setanta O'hAilpin omitted.
