ANOTHER week, another set of votes.
Six Carlton players received coaches' votes for their roles in the Round 21 come-from-behind win over St Kilda.
This week, Blake Acres topped the table with seven votes after his Round 21 performance, where the 27-year-old delivered an all-round performance against the side that drafted him in 2013.
Making the wing of Marvel Stadium his own, Acres - who has been building in the back half of the season - put his experience to good use, collecting 27 disposals, 11 marks and two goals, including the sealer under the roof.
Zac Fisher earned six votes for his first game back since Round 12, where the speedster didn’t put a foot wrong.
Starting in a new role across half-back, Fisher's classy ball use was on full display in a career-high 32 disposal outing, operating at 84 per cent efficiency in the process.
Patrick Cripps and Nic Newman both received five votes, with the senior heads keeping calm and collected under pressured circumstances.
Cripps stood tall in the middle, managing 11 clearances (his second highest tally of the season) and 15 contested possessions in a midfield unit missing personnel. That didn't stop the Blues, who starred at the stoppages particularly in the second half, with the captain leading the way.
Widely lauded as the best player afield by the Blues, Newman gathered a team-high 35 disposals, where the defender contributed 13 marks and 10 intercept possessions, chopping off the St Kilda forward press and taking good options down the ground.
Fellow defender Jacob Weitering received three votes, where the backman was impenetrable in the defensive 50.
With nine intercept possessions (including seven intercept marks) and seven rebound 50s, Weitering was well and truly the general down back, continuing his outstanding form of recent months: it's the fourth time in the last seven weeks he has received votes.
Tom De Koning rounded out the votes with two, as the ruckman put in a strong showing in the middle and up forward.
As well as a crucial goal in the third quarter, De Koning - who finished with eight score involvements - was crucial in the ball going the Blues' way in the second half, with seven contested possessions and five clearances across the third and fourth quarters.
