CARLTON has named its team of 26 for Sunday’s crunch clash with St Kilda.

It was confirmed earlier in the week that Adam Cerra would miss through injury, and the Blues will also be without Mitch McGovern for the game against the Saints.

The defender is unavailable after experiencing a hamstring injury at training today. He underwent scans this afternoon which confirmed a low-grade hamstring strain that is expected to sideline him for the next 2-3 weeks.

In Cerra’s absence, AFL Senior Coach Michael Voss confirmed in his press conference that midfielder Paddy Dow - who has featured in six of the last eight games, five of those as sub - will feature from the opening bounce on the weekend, despite being named on the extended bench.

The five inclusions to the squad are potential debutant Jaxon Binns, Ed Curnow, Sam Durdin, Zac Fisher and Josh Honey, with the team to be announced tomorrow at 5pm.

The game will mark Lachie Fogarty’s 50th AFL career game, with the Cat-turned-Blue playing an important role for Carlton in recent weeks. Returning in Round 14 after off-season back surgery, the 24-year-old debuted in the opening round of the 2018 campaign before being traded to the Blues at the end of the 2020 season.
