THE new-look Blues will finally have the chance to put all the hard work of the pre-season to the test in two opportunities across August. 

Over two weeks, Carlton will participate in a match-simulation against Melbourne to be held at IKON Park and a practice match against Sydney to be played at the SCG.*

Couch on who to watch in 2023

Midfield coach Tom Couch spoke about which players to watch out for in 2023.

It will be the first time the two teams have gone head-to-head on the field and the first time the Blues will take to the SCG.

With a new-look playing group and a fresh-faced coaching panel, the Blues will be eager to get the game time in ahead of their season opener against the Gold Coast Suns on Saturday 2 September. 

NSW Bluebaggers are encouraged to get to the SCG and show their support for the Blues, with fans able to attend the game for free. 

Those who are unable to make it to the ground will be able to tune into a free live stream via the Carlton website and app. 

More details around the match simulation will be communicated in coming weeks.
