It is expected Chris Judd will be named an All-Australian for the sixth time in 2011, the big question for Carlton supporters is which of his teammates will join him in the team.

Marc Murphy, Heath Scotland and Eddie Betts were named in the 40-man squad from with the All Australian team will be announced in Melbourne on Monday evening.

Murphy has had an outstanding season and the majority of media experts have selected him in their team Scotland is a favourite with many as well and it would be just reward for ‘Scotto’ who has been in tremendous form in 2011. In many ways his selection would be one of the stories of the team.

For Eddie Betts it is an indication of how well he has worked to turn his form around during the season. He will be vying for the ‘small forward’ spot in the team.

Judd is a five-time All-Australian, having been selected in 2004, 2006, 2008 (captain), 2009 and 2010. While it will be number six for Judd, if Murphy, Scotland or Betts are selected in the team it will be a first for them.

The All Australian selection panel recently announced the 40-man squad but they were not required to nominate leading players in each section of the field - forwards, defenders and midfielders/ruckman - but simply to name the best players of the season.

The All Australian team of 22, to be announced on Monday September 19, will be selected to best fit team balance as if to play a match
