Some of Carlton’s youngest Members hit Visy Park alongside their idols yesterday for the annual Blues Captain Carlton Junior 22 Members Clinics.

Chris Judd, Eddie Betts, Matthew Kreuzer and Bryce Gibbs, along with 18 other players, found time in their busy schedules to put more than 1,000 aspiring young footballers through their paces during the second session of the day. Earlier Marc Murphy, Andrew Walker, Jeff Garlett and 18 other players took to the ground with the 1,000 junior members involved in the first session of the day.

Exclusive to Captain Carlton Junior 22 members aged between 5 - 15 years of age, the boys and girls were separated into different stations each lead by a Carlton player.

Under perfect football weather conditions the kids honed their skills in a variety of handball, tackling, kicking, marking and agility drills. While the players looked on providing advice and spending the majority of their time signing autographs for the young members and their mums and dads!

The Junior Member Clinics are an exclusive benefit to Captain Carlton Junior 22 members and they continue to grow each year, becoming a major feature on the young Carlton Members calendar.
