TWO Blues who have each waited over a year to pull on the jumper will do so this Sunday.
It was confirmed earlier on Friday that after two years, David Cuningham would return to senior action, featuring in his 42nd game — and first since Round 9, 2021.
He will be joined by Lachie Fogarty, who has been one of the Carlton Reserves’ most consistent performers in the past month.

David Cun𝒊𝒏gham.
After undergoing back surgery at the end of last year, today marks 12 months since Fogarty’s last senior game, where he was a late activation as medical sub against Richmond. His last start came in Round 4 last year against Gold Coast.
In his past three VFL games, Fogarty has averaged over 26 disposals as well as over six tackles a game: he’ll add some valuable pressure to the Blues’ forward and midfield mix this weekend.
The duo join Nic Newman and Marc Pittonet in the line-up, after the two trained fully on Friday in preparation for the Round 14 clash.
Ed Curnow, Paddy Dow and Lewis Young are omissions: they join Jaxon Binns in the emergencies as potential substitutes.
There will be two milestones for the Blues, with Harry McKay (100 games) and Tom De Koning (50 games) both likely to play key roles in attack following Pittonet’s inclusion.
Sunday’s game begins from 1:10pm.
