Carlton’s NAB Challenge match against West Coast in Mandurah on Friday night has officially sold out, the AFL today confirmed.
No tickets or membership scans will be available to Carlton supporters on match day, with only pre-purchased ticket holders to be admitted entry.
The Blues yesterday named their 29-man squad for their NAB Challenge opener, with 10 of their 14 new recruits – Blaine Boekhorst, Clem Smith, Dillon Viojo-Rainbow, Kristian Jaksch, Liam Jones, Jason Tutt, Billy Gowers, Ciaran Byrne, Matt Dick and Tom Fields – to feature alongside acting captain Sam Rowe.
Carlton’s Irishmen Zach Tuohy, Ciaran Sheehan and Byrne will also play together for the first time.
With Blues coach Mick Malthouse to be beside his wife Nanette as she undergoes surgery on her abdomen, Rob Wiley will take over the coaching reins.
