FOUR changes have been made for the Carlton VFLW's Round 6 clash with Port Melbourne.

In exciting news for fans, AFLW-listed Blue Mia Austin will make a long-awaited return to football when she takes to the field on Sunday afternoon. 

The young forward enjoyed a strong start her career at Carlton before suffering a season-ending ankle injury during AFLW Season 7. 

Fans will also get to see new AFLW Blue Chloe Wrigley in action, who will pull on the Navy Blue for the first time since joining the Blues.

The inside-midfielder enjoyed a 50-game career playing with Peel Thunder in the WAFLW competition, where her ability to win the ball first and provide run through the midfield saw her earn the opportunity with Carlton AFLW through the 2023 AFLW Supplementary draft. 

Austin and Wrigley will also be joined by Octavia Di Donato and Imogen Milford as they look to bounce back from last week's disappointing loss. 

The Blues will be without the on-field leadership of Ally Bild who will miss the game through concussion. 

Brooke Vickers (concussion), Tahlia Read and Mia Cowan also come out of the team.

Carlton VFLW will be looking to record their second win over Port Melbourne for the year, after they recorded a 24-point win over the opposition in the opening round of the season. 

Amelia Klingbeil and Maddie Di Cosmo were important in the Blues' game against Port Melbourne in Round 1 and will once again be crucial in the battle of the midfield on Sunday afternoon.
