CARLTON has named its extended squad of 26 ahead of Sunday’s first home game at Marvel Stadium for 2023.

The Blues will  be without defender Adam Saad, who comes out of the team with a hamstring injury. Mitch McGovern will need to prove his fitness in the main session tomorrow, after being a late withdrawal in Round 5.  

Marc Pittonet will also be available to play after being subbed off last week with an eye injury. 

The extended lineup consists of Josh Honey, Lochie O’Brien, Brodie Kemp, Alex Cincotta and Lachie Plowman. 

Carlton’s team of 22 will be announced tomorrow at 5pm, with the extended interchange to be cut down from eight players to four.
