THE 2023 AFLW Supplementary Draft will take place tonight, with the Blues having four available list spots to fill.

The draft will top up the 18 teams for the upcoming season, with 529 players nominating to be selected.

For the first time in AFLW history, the draft is strictly limited to overage players, due to the timing between the last National Draft.

Carlton holds picks Nos.4 and No.8 in the first round, as well as No.20 in the second and No.28 in the third: the Blues have an additional first-round selection after trading Brooke Walker to the Bombers.

After welcoming the likes of Keeley Skepper and Mia Austin with their first-round picks last year, the Blues will take a different approach into this year's supplementary draft, with the focus on mature players given the change in timing with two seasons in one calendar year in 2022.

Two rounds into the VFLW season, expect players to be taken from a combination of the Coates Talent League as well as the state-league competition across the board.

The draft will be streamed online from 7:30pm AEST: click here to watch and follow along on the Carlton social accounts to see who will become the newest Blues.
