THE CARLTON Football Club is pleased to welcome Bell Plaster and Building Supplies as a community partner of the Club, becoming a Principal partner of the Adam Saad Pathways program.

The partnership will help the Club to grow the Pathways initiative and reach more multicultural youth through the programs.

First established in 2018 during Saad's time at Essendon, the Adam Saad Pathways has quickly grown into one of Carlton’s key programs after being implemented at the Club in 2021.

The Pathways program encompasses the Adam Saad Academy, which is a six-week multicultural program centred around building leadership in young role models and developing football skills.

This year, the program saw participants from 17 different cultural backgrounds register.

The Pathways program also includes the Boys and Girls Academies, the Adam Saad Schools Cup (which reached over 180 students this year) and the High-Performance program.

Over 75 participants have taken part in the Pathways program to date including 26 young females in the first ever Girls Academy program held earlier this year.

The program has received great support and feedback, which highlights the positive impact the program is making amongst multicultural communities.

Bell Plaster and Building Supplies originated in Brunswick over 20 years ago and is a supplier of products and materials to the residential and commercial constructions markets.

They are committed to providing customers with a reliable supply of quality products including walling, flooring and ceiling solutions.

Carlton CEO Brian Cook says it is imperative that Adam Saad Pathways can continue to grow and reach a bigger audience and such a partnership is crucial to that.

“Our Club is extremely privileged to be able to provide these programs to multicultural communities,” Cook said.

“Adam has such a hands-on approach which is vital to ensuring we can continue to focus on creating role models on the football field and in their homes.

“As we look to continue to grow the program, we are thrilled to welcome Bell Plaster on board as principal partner and look forward to working together to enhance the Adam Saad Pathways even further.”

Bell Plaster Financial Controller Zac Saad said the benefits of the program were a core reason behind the investment.

“We have been able to see firsthand the wonderful opportunities Adam Saad Pathways provide and we are proud to partner with a program that is making a difference,” Saad said.

“It is exciting to see a positive role model like Adam use his profile for good, and we are honoured to be part of the program and see it reach new heights in 2023.”
