THE CARLTON Football Club is thrilled to announce that Ben Crocker and Ned Cahill have both re-committed to the Carlton Reserves for 2023.
Both players were imperative to the VFL side’s success in 2022 and will be eager to lead the team to greater heights in 2023.
Crocker had another outstanding season following on from his 2021 Carlton Reserves Best and Fairest win, kicking a further 38 goals throughout his 19 games in 2022.'

His season-best performance came in Round 10 against the Northern Bullants, where he had 21 disposals, seven marks and kicked three goals at Preston City Oval.
Crocker averaged 13.5 disposals throughout his 19-game season and could be counted on to take a mark in the forward line with an average of 5.5 per game.
Cahill joined the Carlton Reserves last season and instantly impressed as a small forward.
He averaged 14.6 disposals and just shy of five marks per game throughout the season, which ensured he cemented his place in the side.

Cahill’s best performance came in Round 16 against Port Melbourne where he amassed 20 disposals, five marks, three tackles and three goals at ETU Stadium.
VFL coach Luke Power said it was a testament to the program that Crocker and Cahill have chosen to re-sign.
“It is fantastic to be able to retain such quality players which is no doubt a huge boost to our program,” Power said.
“Both players bring their own skills to their respective lines, and we’re proud of the development we have already seen in them throughout their time at Carlton.
“Ben’s leadership extends beyond the forward line, and he has established himself as a core part of the team, so we’re delighted that he will be leading from the front again in 2023.
“Ned hit the ground running when he joined the program earlier this year and we’re excited to see him reach even higher levels next season.
“We’re proud of the quality of our VFL program and it is wonderful that Ben and Ned have chosen to extend their time with the Club, and we look forward to building towards something special together.”
