Blues fans will have to wait a little longer to see Charlie Curnow pull on a navy blue guernsey.
The No.12 draft pick suffered a minor ankle injury at training on Wednesday, which will see him miss out on being named in this week’s Northern Blues’ Development team.
After recovering from a bout of glandular fever, it was announced earlier in the week that Curnow would play in the VFL this weekend, but this unfortunate setback will see the 19-year-old remain on the sideline for at least another week.
Meanwhile Harry McKay will run out for the Northern Blues’ Development team against Sandringham this Saturday.
McKay was placed back on Carlton’s primary list this week after recovering from a stress reaction in his back.
