CARLTON captain Kerryn Peterson has been awarded nine AFLCA votes for her dominant performance in the Game Changers’ Round 3 draw with Port Adelaide on Sunday.
The skipper has taken a new role on the wing in her stride, ending the day as one of the most important players on the ground with 21 disposals, eight intercepts and a goal – just the second of her career.
Peterson was influential with ball in hand, recording over 90 per cent disposal efficiency, accumulating 401 metres gained and tallying four score involvements, an equal game high.

Abbie McKay continued her red-hot start to the season and was awarded five votes, tallying a career-high disposal count for the second time in three weeks.
The midfielder finished with 26 touches, including 17 contested possessions, and six clearances – all game-high statistics.
Reigning Rising Star Mimi Hill rounded out the votes for the Blues, awarded two votes for her performance which included 19 disposals, four tackles and three clearances.
