Season 2015 was a challenging year for the Carlton Football Club, which ultimately finished 18th on the ladder.
With the team now on a break, we’re taking a look back at each player’s year in statistics. Here's the review for Carlton youngster Nick Holman.

OVERVIEW
After playing one game last year in his debut season, Nick Holman managed to add another eight senior games to his career tally.
In his first match of the season, Round 13 against the Gold Coast, Holman burst on as the sub and had an immediate impact – hitting up teammates inside 50 and providing goal assists.
The No. 20 also played 10 games for the Northern Blues in the VFL. His fierce tackling was on display in matches against Frankston and Essendon where he had 13 tackles in each match.
Holman showed glimpses of what he can do, and all Bluebaggers will be hoping to see more of this 20-year-old in 2016.

HE SAID IT
“I’m very happy to get the win, Johnny (interim coach John Barker) didn’t have too many expectations on me, he just told me to play my role, run off, use my fresh legs – I’m glad we got the win. I know I’ve got to bide my time in the twos, I know I’m only young.”

THEY SAID IT
"After a series of impressive performances in the VFL, Holman was given his chance in the senior side, and he took it with both hands. Playing a little over a quarter, his first three involvements were a solid tackle and two pinpoint passes inside 50 to set up scoring chances. He finished the game with eight disposals at 87% efficiency, and also laid a total of three tackles.”

SEASON HIGHLIGHT
Holman helped secure the Northern Blues’ first win of the season, kicking a late goal against the fast-finishing Sandringham to allow Northern to hang on. A quick snap sailed through the big sticks to put the margin out of reach for Sandringham.
