JUST over two weeks out from the start of the seventh season of AFLW, tickets for Rounds 1–9 will go on sale today (10 August) via Ticketmaster.
AFLW members received priority access to tickets with an exclusive member window from 10am, with general sale to follow at 2pm.
Today's on-sale will be for the opening nine rounds, excluding Round 4 v Fremantle, with details to be confirmed.
AFLW members will have received communication from the Club with all the information they need to redeem their tickets, including their barcode number.
Carlton will host Collingwood in a blockbuster Round 1 clash, which will see the two sides return to the season opener for the fifth time in AFLW history.
The new redevelopment at IKON Park - including state-of-the-art light towers - will be used to full effect in season seven with the Game Changers to host a total of three night fixtures from four currently scheduled home games, including a school holiday meeting with Melbourne in Round 5.
The home of AFLW will also take centre stage in Round 8, with the Blues hosting the opening game in Pride Round against Richmond on Friday night.
In more positive news for footy-goers, the cost of attending will remain the same in 2022 and under 18s will go free with a registered ticket.
Due to capacity at AFLW venues, members are encouraged to redeem a $0 ticket to guarantee their entry, with Rounds 1 and 2 in particular expecting strong crowds.
