NORTHERN Blues coach Josh Fraser assesses the performances of all Carlton-listed players who featured in the 83-point win over Franskton at Ikon Park on Saturday:
Levi Casboult
Stats: 9 disposals, 8 marks (4 contested), 3 goals
From the coach: He split his time between ruck and forward, and we saw him launch at the ball and take contested marks in the second half. When he went into ruck, he gave our mids first use. He managed to hit the scoreboard to finish with three goals and had a good influence on the game.

Tom De Koning
Stats: 9 disposals (5 contested), 2 inside 50s
From the coach: Tommy looked really good in his centre-bounce ruck-work as well as his ability to follow up and impact at ground level. He had some opportunities to take contested marks but didn’t finish work in the air. There were still lots of good signs from a young, developing tall.
Nick Graham
Stats: 37 disposals, 9 clearances, 6 tackles, 6 inside 50s
From the coach: Nick was prolific in finding the ball in stoppage situations and generally used it well, especially when going inside 50. Some of his tackling pressure was really pleasing. He had another big impact.

Patrick Kerr
Stats: 16 disposals, 9 marks, 5 inside 50s, 4 goals
From the coach: I thought his game was really solid. The growth he’s shown in his forward craft has been really pleasing, with his improvement in his leading patterns and contested marks on display. He needed to finish in front of goal with four goals from nine shots on goal, but his development has been a highlight.

Sam Kerridge
Stats: 28 disposals, 5 marks, 5 clearances
From the coach: Returning to footy on restricted game-time, ‘Kedge’ mainly played on the wing with small hits inside. He got back to support defensively and he also found the opportunity to give us some run and drive going our way. It was a really good and important first step back for him.
Harrison Macreadie
Stats: 11 disposals
From the coach: Harrison was another one who was making his return after a fair amount of time out of action. I thought his defensive positioning was really good, where he came off his man to impact the ball in the air and he used the ball well. He’ll keep getting better with continuity and more game-time under his belt.
Aaron Mullett
Stats: 23 disposals, 7 marks, 5 inside 50s, 1 goal
From the coach: He played wing, forward and a bit of half-back, so he showed his versatility there. He had some strong tackling efforts which was pleasing, while he broke the lines at different stages and set us up going forward. We still want to see him build consistency over four quarters.
Angus Schumacher
Stats: 16 disposals, 4 inside 50s, 4 rebound 50s
From the coach: It was another solid performance from ’Schuey’: his defensive positioning continues to improve, he’s starting to really believe in what he’s doing. His ball-use was impressive and also gave him some hits in the middle which will add strings to his bow.
Matthew Shaw
Stats: 20 disposals, 6 marks
From the coach: He played mainly a defensive role this week and was good with his voice and communication to other defenders to structure up. He competed well in contests and gave us some good ball-use out of our defensive half.
