HERE'S where things stand from a Carlton injury perspective leading into Round 21.
Matt Kennedy (concussion/jaw)
- Suffered a head knock in the fourth quarter of Saturday night’s game and has entered the concussion protocols as a result
- Also experienced a fractured jaw in the same collision
- At this stage is expected to return in Round 23
Nic Newman (knee)
- Experienced a deep cut to the front of his knee in the second quarter of Saturday night’s game
- Has required a procedure to close the wound that will take an extended period of time to heal
- At this stage he is expected to be unavailable for the remainder of the home-and-away season
Corey Durdin (shoulder)
- Was subbed out of Saturday night’s game after injuring his shoulder when tackled in the second quarter
- Will be unavailable this week and will be reassessed for next week
Liam Stocker (concussion)
- Experienced a concussion as a result of a tackle in the third quarter of the VFL game on the weekend
- Has entered the concussion protocols and will be unavailable this week
Ed Curnow (hamstring)
- In a running program at the moment and will continue to build up his loads over the coming weeks
George Hewett (back)
- Remains a week-to-week assessment
- Will not be available for this weekend
Zac Williams (calf)
- Will return to skills training this week
- Aim is to be available for Round 23
