Adam Saad has been nominated for Mark of the Year for his hanger over James Peatling.
Saad had already been having a dominant game for the Blues when the mark in question took place late in the third quarter.
To intercept the ball in the middle of the ground, Saad leapt full stretch on the shoulders of Peatling to cleanly bring the Sherrin down.
It was just one of 12 marks that Saad recorded throughout the night – along with eight intercepts, four inside 50s and 581 metres gained from his 22 kicks.
Saad becomes the fourth Blue this season to receive a Mark of the Year nomination alongside Tom De Koning (who has received four), Jack Silvagni and Charlie Curnow.
