CARLTON has named four additions to its extended squad for Sunday’s trip to Perth.
It was confirmed earlier in the week that Jacob Weitering would be making his return, six weeks after an AC joint injury against Collingwood resulted in shoulder surgery.
He will hold down the fort in defensive 50 for the Blues, who have also welcomed Sam Durdin, Matthew Owies and potential debutant Will Hayes to the squad of 26.

- Staying involved and staying positive
Jacob Weitering spoke on SEN earlier to discuss his comeback from injury, stating "everything's looking good for Sunday".
Owies has missed the last two games after experiencing calf tightness in the warm-up against Fremantle, while both Durdin and Hayes were selected by the Blues in the mid-season draft.
Durdin is once again available after sustaining a knee injury later in his Carlton debut against Richmond, while Hayes has been one of the Carlton Reserves’ most consistent players all season both as an inside midfielder and on the wing.
Brodie Kemp - who has been omitted - is the only exclusion from the squad.
Carlton will trim down to its team of 22 tomorrow evening at 5pm, with the medical sub to then be announced an hour before Sunday’s game.
The Round 17 clash begins at 2:40pm local time (4:40pm AEST).
