AN IMPORTANT part of Carlton’s profile in the community is the Club’s flagship initiative, Carlton Respects.
The Round 16 clash with St Kilda marks the seventh annual AFL Carlton Respects Game after the program’s launch in 2016.
Raising awareness for gender equality and the prevention of violence against women, it is a cause that continues to have an impact on the foundation of the football club as a whole.
This year marks the first time that the Blues will wear a Carlton Respects guernsey, in addition to the now-traditional orange socks which have been worn in this fixture since its inception.
