CARLTON has named four inclusions to its extended squad for the Round 11 clash with Collingwood.

With this weekend’s game taking place on Sunday, the Blues have named an extended 26-player squad, which will be cut down to the team of 22 (sans medical sub) tomorrow evening at 5pm.

After missing last week’s win over Sydney due to injury, Jack Martin and Jack Newnes have both been included.

They’re joined by Jordan Boyd and Paddy Dow, who were the Carlton Reserves’ two best players in the VFL last weekend.

Brodie Kemp, who was the unused medical sub last weekend, comes out of the squad.

Lochie O’Brien has been selected in the squad for his 50th AFL game for the Blues, named on the wing where he has averaged 18 disposals across his eight games so far this season.

Sunday also marks a milestone day for the Silvagni family, with Jack’s 88th game meaning he and dad Stephen will total 400 matches as a father-son duo.

This weekend’s game will start at 3:20pm AEST from the MCG, with the two old enemies locked on an identical head-to-head record leading into the 260th VFL/AFL encounter. For the second consecutive week, the Blues will run out in their 2022 AFL Indigenous guernsey for Sir Doug Nicholls Rounds.
