FOR THE second time this season, Tom De Koning has received a Mark of the Year nomination.
Taking place in the first quarter of Carlton's win over Greater Western Sydney, De Koning took full advantage of Charlie Curnow's long inside 50.
Using gun Giants defender Nick Haynes as a stepladder, De Koning put his left knee into his opposition's back and soared to bring down a textbook hanger in the left forward pocket.
It got even better moments later for the young ruckman, who went back and converted a tight set shot.
This nomination backed up the one he received in the opening minutes of the season against Richmond, while it marks his third nomination for the award from 30 career games.
