ZAC Williams will return to the Carlton line-up on Sunday afternoon.

After being a late exclusion from last week’s win over North Melbourne due to Achilles tightness, Williams will return for the Round 8 clash with Adelaide.

The rebounding defender - who has averaged over 23 disposals so far this season - takes the place of Liam Stocker, who will miss due to suspension.

However, the Blues will be without George Hewett for another week due to a calf cork.

Carlton has also added an extra three inclusions to its extended bench, with Jordan Boyd, Paddy Dow and potential debutant Jesse Motlop all included.

Lewis Young has been named at full back after having his suspension overturned at the AFL Tribunal mid-week, while Charlie Curnow and Harry McKay will look to continue their strong records under the roof as the key pillars in attack.

Jack Carroll has also been named in the starting 18 after his impressive first-up performance against North Melbourne in Round 7.
