The mid-season bye has come at a good time for Carlton, with mixed news on the injury front.

Captain Marc Murphy has been ruled out for up to three weeks, after having surgery on his fractured cheekbone.

As the Blues have a bye in round 13, it means Murphy could return for the round 15 clash with Collingwood.

Meanwhile Mitch Robinson has a badly bruised shoulder, after landing heavily in last week's match against Hawthorn.

Robinson will be tested at training.

But there's good news for new recruit Nick Graham, who made a successful return from a knee injury in the VFL.

While Carlton vice captain Andrew Carrazzo is likely to return from his calf injury through the VFL this weekend, and line up for the Northern Blues when they take on Williamstown on Saturday.
