CARLTON has finalised its team for the Round 5 clash with Port Adelaide.

The Blues have confirmed six changes from last week’s game, with a further three alterations following last night’s squad announcement.

Included in the side are Matthew Cottrell and Jack Newnes, who - like Luke Parks last night - have been rewarded for their form in the Carlton Reserves’ hot start to the year.

Newnes produced a unanimous best-on-ground performance in the VFL Round 3 contest last week, while Cottrell has averaged over 24 disposals and a goal a game.

They join confirmed inclusions Corey Durdin, Parks and Marc Pittonet as announced last night.

Omitted from the line-up are Tom De Koning, Lachie Fogarty and Lochie O’Brien, who - alongside Paddy Dow - are emergencies: one will be named as medical sub an hour before Sunday’s bounce.

The Round 5 clash begins at 1:40pm on Sunday from the MCG.
