The Blues will head into Saturday’s clash with the momentum strongly in their favour after back-to-back wins.
Fresh off their gritty win over the Suns, the Blues will be eager to turn their winning ways into a habit after four wins in the last six rounds.
Adelaide’s finals hopes hang in the balance heading into the Round 19 clash, sitting eighth on the ladder with Port Adelaide nipping at its heels.
The Crows hold the upper hand in the win-loss record over the short history of these two sides, notching 20 wins to the Blues’ 18.
Carlton’s elite young midfield will be its key strength heading into the clash, with the likes of Sam Walsh, Ed Curnow and Patrick Cripps winning the clearances over recent weeks.
However, where Adelaide may get the upper hand in the centre is in the hitout stakes, with promising young ruckman Reilly O’Brien showing strong form throughout the season.
The Blues may have met their match when it comes to run off half-back, with the Crows equalling them in rebound 50s so far this year.
☝️ change ahead of our clash with the Crows.
