Carlton's senior players have resumed training at Visy Park following 12-day break over the Christmas/New Year Period.

All members of the senior squad returned to training on Monday afternoon, with the exception of Kade Simpson and Marc Murphy who were each granted extra time off as a result of International Rules duties.

Team members completed a time-trial around Princes Park followed by a skills session on Visy Park.

“The boys all returned in good shape, and they each had a dedicated individual program to follow over the break,” Carlton’s conditioning coach Noel McCarthy told carltonfc.com.au

“We’ve now got a five to six-week training period to look forward to before some match simulation and our first NAB Cup game.”

Carlton plays North Melbourne in the opening NAB Cup match at the Dome at 7.40pm on Friday February 20.
