The annual Carlton Corporate Golf Day was held at the beautiful Heritage Golf Club late last week.
Perfect conditions greeted the 72 participants, who were treated to some of this state's best golfing scenery at the exclusive Chirnside Park course.
The event is sponsored by Ikon Services, Premier Partner of the Carlton Football Club, with current and former players taking part in the day's activities.
Jeremy Laidler, Dennis Armfield, Andrew Collins, Chris Yarran, Eddie Betts, Lachie Henderson, Andrew Walker and Dave Ellard represented the current playing list, while Board Members and 1987 Premiership greats Stephen Kernahan and Adrian Gleeson represented the Club's past players.
Despite the eagerness of all current players to make a statement on the course, in particular Lachie Henderson and Andrew Collins who are known for their golfing prowess, it was one of their coaches who taught them a golfing lesson. Assistant Coach John Barker, who was partnered with Scyon's Damien Boyer, Craig Crick and Darren Nixon, took home the main prize... and also won himself bragging rights for the next 12 months!
