CARLTON has been dealt a double blow, losing two key players in the first half of its uphill battle against the Hawks at Etihad Stadium.
Defender Liam Jones and midfielder Zac Fisher will not rejoin today's match against Hawthorn, with both players copping knocks to the knee.
They will require scans to determine further damage.
Fisher had eight disposals and four contested possessions before coming off in the first quarter.
Jones amassed three tackles and four contested possessions before leaving the ground in the second term after colliding with Kade Simpson in a marking contest.
The Club will provide an update on both players' conditions once more information becomes available.
The losses come as the Blues find themselves trailing Hawthorn by 48 points going into the second half.
