IT WAS certainly a busy - and heartwarming - three weeks.

Carlton's AFL players officially returned to pre-season training yesterday following the culmination of their break over Christmas and the new year.

It was a time period which a number of Blues are sure to never forget: in particular, Jack Martin, who married wife Britt on Friday!
