THE CARLTON Football Club is pleased to announce that it has been recognised as a Winner for Employer of Choice at the Australian Business Awards 2021.
This significant achievement sees the Club accomplish yet another one of its key targets outlined in its five-year strategic plan, The Carlton Way.
The Australian Business Award for Employer of Choice recognises organisations that develop workplaces that maximise the full potential of their workforce through established policies and practices, which demonstrate effective employee recruitment, engagement and retention.
The Club’s submission focussed on five pillars which contribute to organisational excellence.
These pillars are:
- Organisational composition and profile
- Culture, leadership and strategy
- Education, training and development
- Performance, recognition and remuneration
- Health, safety and satisfaction
Carlton President Luke Sayers acknowledged the significance for the Club in receiving such a highly regarded recognition.
