WHILE Carlton is interstate, there is still plenty of football for Melbourne-based Bluebaggers to head to.
Ikon Park will play host to its final games for the season, with Saturday holding a VFLW-VFL double-header.
The Carlton VFLW side kicks things off from 11:30am, hosting Richmond in the first of two matches.
The Blues will welcome back key AFLW-listed pairing Alison Downie and Darcy Vescio for the clash with the Tigers, as they strive for their fourth win of the campaign.
The action continues at 2pm, with the Northern Blues similarly looking for win No.4 of 2018.
Northern has welcomed back Sam Kerridge and Harrison Macreadie from injury layoffs, as it looks to do the 2018 double over Frankston. The sides met in Round 5, with the Blues prevailing by 39 points.
Carlton’s VFLW side is aiming for its second-straight victory at Ikon Park, while Northern is looking for consecutive wins for the first time this season.
