Carlton will need to make at least two changes for Saturday's match against Essendon at the MCG.
Blues backman Simon White is out for a month after dislocating his kneecap in the match against the Eagles, while Troy Menzel will spend a week on the sidelines after hurting his calf in the same game.
Patrick Cripps was a late withdrawal from the match and will be tested at training this week, along with Rob Warnock (shoulder) and Kristian Jaksch (ribs).
The good news for Carlton is that defender Andrew Walker is likely to make his long-awaited return from a knee injury.
Head of Football Andrew McKay says Walker has pulled up well after a run with the Northern Blues.
"Andrew Walker returned through the VFL last week and was a standout for the Northern Blues, so he's up for selection for the senior team this week which will be great," McKay said.

Meanwhile McKay has poured cold water on suggestions Chris Judd is set for a stint on the sidelines.
Judd suffered a hit to his shoulder against West Coast but scans have cleared him of any damage and he is expected to play against the Bombers.
McKay has also confirmed Matthew Kreuzer is about a fortnight away from playing but is most likely to return through the VFL.
