Carlton's director of development and coaching Rob Wiley was the toast of Perth on Saturday, when he was inducted into the inaugural Perth Football Club Hall of Fame.
Wiley played 178 games for Perth, including in the 1976 and '77 premierships. He was named the club's best and fairest an incredible eight times, captained the club in 1985-86, was captain-coach in 1988 and coach in 1989.
In addition, Wiley is one of just four people to rise above ‘Hall of Fame’ recognition as a ‘Mighty Demon’ (akin to Legend status).
There are only two living members inducted to that level: Rob Wiley and Barry Cable.
Everyone at Carlton would like to extend a warm congratulations to Wiley on his achievement.
