Carlton players have returned to Visy Park after spending last week on their training camp at Mount Buller.
During the camp players took part in several gruelling challenges, including a 16km bike ride up the mountain.
Levi Casboult said the camp was a great opportunity to spend time with his teammates away from the club.
"Mount Buller was really good and I enjoyed the change-up,” Casboult said.
"I like getting out on a bike, so the bike ride was a bit of fun. It was still pretty hard, but getting away from the club and having a few days with the boys was really good."
The 24-year-old enjoyed his best season to date in 2014, notching a total of 108 marks and 15 goals.
He also proved himself as one of the strongest pack marks in the competition, finishing the year ranked ninth overall in the AFL for contested marks.
Looking ahead, Casboult is optimistic about the upcoming season.
"I guess that everyone says the same thing, that every club is going well," Casboult said.
"But this is my sixth pre-season and it's the best one yet – so I feel like we're going in the right direction.
"It's another chance to get better and to get fitter. That's what you're trying to do each year – fitter, stronger, better."
