OVERVIEW
It was a milestone year for Davey Ellard who notched his 50th AFL game during Round 18.

The 25-year-old who completed his 6th season with the Blues, enjoyed 2014 in his new role as a harassing small forward.

He also continued playing with his trademark ferocity and desire for the football, which he has been known for throughout his career.

Ellard concluded the year finishing in the Club's top five for leading tacklers behind Bryce Gibbs, Marc Murphy, Andrew Carrazzo and Ed Curnow.

HE SAID IT
"I have to make sure I have enough strings to my bow to play multiple roles because I don't want to be considered as just a tagger or an inside mid. I've got to make sure that I can adapt to playing up forward, through the midfield, out on a wing, anywhere the coach sees fit. I've got to be able to adapt to whatever the coaching staff throw at me on game day. If I don't, I won't play many games."
